Welcome to i on Hartford!

Mi Gente,

Welcome to the one and only, super duper can’t be schooper, fancy dancy rhymes with nancy blog of Luis Edgardo Cotto. {trumpets blare and all types of shrek-like hilarities ensue}

Seriously, I’m putting this out for anyone who wants to know what’s happening in our fair city of Hartford, CT. Hence I on Hartford can also be EYE on Hartford. Everything from links to pertinent articles in daily periodicals to info gotten of our own accord (don’t even ask.) I hope to be able to focus on local politics, school issues, and the arts scene and how it relates (or doesn’t) to city residents.

I’ve been playing around with this blog software and am getting the hang of this as I go along, so apologies if you can’t read the posts while playing tetris with massive amounts of mp3s streamed to you from coaxil this and thats but I’ll get there. My first post is a letter to the editor published back in December regarding an article which explored the possible creation of a Military Magnet created in Hartford. This was first mentioned by incoming Hartford Superintendent Steven Adamowski. The letter was in response to an editorial board response saying that the idea should actually be considered.

I’ve said enough, but for now, why don’t you jot us down as a favorite/bookmark and check in on us every now and again. Face it, it’s a tad but more relevant than watching random youtube videos of people crashing into each other at weddings.

peace

    dude – you should be worried about the 40th birthday, you need someone to fatten you up and take care of your aches and pains in the autumn of your life. keep your I(@) eye on the ball, hartford is your town and you know it better than anyone. will keep my political comments to myself at the moment.

    Mi buen amigo Luis Edgardo!

    I am sending ‘vibras’; what a way to run into your 40th summer on earth.

    Please promise us that you will through yourself a party -at the Paloma or elsewhere-, and invite us all to join in on the celebration!!

    Paz, besos y abrazos,
    Brenda Liz
