As of today (Friday, Oct. 16) Cityline has two more candidate focus posts. One for Democrat candidate Albert Barrueco and another for another Democrat Candidate Lori Hudson (one of her comments says she’s “artistic”…intrigued to know more.) Now for the game within the game: • Two Latino candidates use the anglo spellings of their names [...] The most important election for the most thankless job in the city is finally starting to take hold. 13 Candidates are on the ballot for the November 3rd elections and for the first time in Hartford history (me thinks) there is no guarantee that the Democrat slate will garner the maximum amount of seats available [...] In a convention style meeting that rivaled any hilarity that the current City Council could muster, the Democratic Town Committee settled on which three candidates they will put up for Novembers Board of Education members, officially the most thankless job in the municipality.
